Sewing Space is a place I have created to encourage ‘Social Sewing’. For those who want to start to sew, for those who want to learn new skills and for those who just want somewhere friendly to get on with their own projects.
I run structured workshops where you can make a specific item and learn the skills needed. And there are drop in sessions where you choose what you want to do and bring it along. I’m there as host and, if you need it, coach.
I’ve recently bought and (almost) renovated a 1950’s shop. There is a dedicated sewing room and a cutting and consultation room. As I’m aiming for a comfy and cosy environment there is a couch, arts and crafts on display and refreshments. We’d like you to visit hopefully you’ll see why social sewing is so much fun.
